Annabel Posted August 11, 2022 Share Posted August 11, 2022 Hi, I'd just like to say that if you have been following the news recently as spotted the articles about the round egg chicken Twinksie that is being quoted as having a 1 in a billion chance of laying a round egg- this is us! One of our rescue hens from the BHWT laid the egg in an Omlet Coop on Saturday and the news has gone everywhere. It was original reported by the Oxford Mail and then went to the national papers and abroad. Some of you have helped me a lot on this forum when I've been asking about help with my chickens, hatching and what coops/walk-ins to buy etc so just wanted to say this is us! We are auctioning the egg on ebay, hoping to get enough funds to get a new set up so we can rescue some more hens.
