Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Hi All,

I love the new autodoor that you can connect to your wifi and mobile. However, I am facing challenges with 12V power supply and batteries:

- I have a 12V cable connected to an external 7AMP battery and solar panel

- I have 4 batteries in the autodoor

If the 12V cable is connected, the "power-saving" settings are disabled (which you usually have when it uses the internal batteries). Hence, when Sun is not great, battery depletes within a few days. Once the external battery is running low, the autodoor doesn't automatically switch to the 4 internal batteries. So door is basically defunct until the sun charges the full 7AMP again

Can I put in a feature request to

a) Figure out whether the power settings can even be enabled on 12V for this use case

b) Figure out whether its possible to use the 4 batteries as backup if the 12V stops feeding in
