Newts Posted May 13 Share Posted May 13 I’m a noobie to the keeping chickens game and would be grateful for some advice. I’ve got an Eglu go up and have got a run about 6 metres long. I introduced 3 hens, a Warren, Light Sussex and a Speckledy all at the same time, bought from a poultry farm. All are at point of lay. From the moment they were in the run the Warren pecks at the Speckledy if she comes too close and she is quite a timid bird. The Sussex is clearly second in the hierarchy and she now has a peck at the Speckledy every now and again. Is this normal? Is it them just sorting out hierarchy or will it continue?
