How to Fox and Badger proof Eglu Cube

We have recently purchased a second hand Eglu cube and run , thinking this would be the best at protecting our chickens which we were hoping to get soon .  Having researched more I am now so worried about getting them . We have foxes and badgers in our garden every evening which we knew however  I thought we could secure the run well to keep them out , im now concerned about them breaking into the eglu through the back door . I wasn’t planning on having a walk in run to put the coop itself in but am I right in thinking this would be safer ? Any other ways of keeping foxes and badgers out , other than digging down with heavy duty mesh , pinning the skirt down etc . I really need to cover every option if we go ahead and get the chickens .
