Smart Feeder - Light sensor values

So, just got this feeder and the light sensor mode is pretty much useless as I can get no decent insight of brightness values during the day. It would be incredibly helpful to put this information in a graph under Technical Information in the app. It phantoms me why this is missing in the first place, yet there is a Wifi strength overview there. Will there be a firmware/app update to support this?

Also, there is a strong delay in opening and closing when I use the preset values. And manually pushing the open and close button at the preferred time also causes a strong delay in sending the light value to the app. For now I use the Time mode, but it's disappointing for a feeder carrying this price tag.

How should I deal with this? I would absolutely prefer to use the light sensor mode. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
