Martin Mc Posted July 1 Share Posted July 1 We have 3x 9 month old Bantams in a Up. All healty and laying. 4 weeks ago one hen ( Nugget ) started stay in the hutch all day sitting on the nest. All I would normally suggest is you block the nest boxes with plant pots, but if you haven't nest boxes? All you can do then it let them come out of it by removing them regularly. Don't try anything silly like putting ice packs underneath them as they may have a heart attack overheating themselves to warm it up.
