A simple way is to make a temporary partition with weld mesh or strong chicken wire fixed to a wooden frame, so they can see each other but not peck or fight. Try to give each side its own feeder, drinker, perch space and access to nesting if needed, otherwise the argument just moves to the “who gets the food” department. Make sure the split does not block ventilation or leave one group stuck in a dark corner. If this is for reintroducing them later, a see-but-don’t-touch setup for a few days often helps. Also check space, boredom and bullying triggers, because cramped hens can turn into tiny feathered gangsters pretty quickly.
