Sockett Posted August 21 Share Posted August 21 Hi Everyone, Hopefully you lovely people of the chicken community could help me out. So I’ve spent countless hours researching about chickens and we were super excited to get some as we want to have them as pets in our garden only 3 hens … but then comes the spanner in the works, our house deeds has a restrictive covenant stating no pigs pigeons and poultry to be kept on the land. Now after days of researching into this and the laws, I’ve just spent an hour crying as I feel like my dream has been crushed and I’m exhausted trying to make this happen. No land for sale, allotments have a crazy waiting list and ideally having them at home would be the best mentally for me. I do suffer with extreme anxiety and worrying will be the death of me. So for everyone I’ve spoken to saying just get them doesn’t give me peace of mind. Equally I don’t want to spend thousands of pounds trying to get something changed.
