What is the easiest way to introduce new chickens to an existing flock?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking at different chicken coop designs and would love to hear what has made the biggest difference for people in everyday use.

Is it better to have a larger walk-in coop, or is a smaller, simpler design easier to manage? I’m also wondering how important things like ventilation, easy cleaning, feed storage and access to the drinkers are.

I’d like to make sure the chickens are comfortable, but also keep the daily routine as simple as possible.

For those who have kept chickens for a while, what do you like most about your coop? Is there anything you wish you had done differently?
