This section has been created to answer all the basic questions to do with using the forum.

The forum is extremely well moderated but unfortunately, as unpaid volunteers, we are unable to 'man' the forum 24/7. We do try to keep the forum running smoothly and as such, rarely have a problem with offensive/obscene or inappropriate material being posted.

 

If you need to get hold of a moderator, for whatever reason, take a look at the opening forum page and the 'users on line'. The moderators on line will be in bold and if you click on their name, this will bring up their profiles and you'll see a PM button on the right. Click this and you're able to send them a private message.

SECTIONS IN THE FORUM

 

The main sections of the forum cover hens, ducks, rabbits and eglus.

 

We have a Welcome section for new forum members to introduce themselves. Also in this section is the Nesting Box where forum members can share and have light hearted discussion about any issues that interest them. Could members please keep any fun and games to this section.

 

We also have a Frequently Asked Questions section where most of the most common queries are covered.

 

Hen keeping has lead many members to start gardening and increased their interest in green issues, so we also have a Good Life Section covering topics such as gardening, green issues, self-sufficiency and recipes.

 

FORUM MEMBERS

 

The forum is open to all eglu owners, prospective eglu owners and others who keep poultry or rabbits, who have registered through Omlet. Members include young people under the age of 16, so please do not post anything that would not be appropriate for them to read. We are proud of the family friendly ethos of our forum and wish to keep it that way.

It's quite easy to think that this is a closed forum, but it isn't. Please remember that anyone can get access to it by clicking on the forum link on the Omlet Club page. This gives them full access to the forum and gallery. Please also remember that exchanging personal information such as telephone numbers or addresses via Private Messages or emails cannot be considered 100% safe.
