I never mentioned in my Quail post that I now have some really good contacts if you want to buy quail eggs (wish I had mentioned it before - I could have saved Pickles some money) The people I recommend are really experienced breeders and between them have the widest selection of quail species you could possible want. If anyone would like details feel free to contact me and I will put you in touch with them. Its just that if you are starting out - it is nice to know that your eggs will be from someone with a good reputation and who has independent fertility tests done before they sell them. They will also advise which is best for your needs. I am sure most people are like that who sell them - but it is reassuring if someone you know has had first hand experience of hatching eggs from breeders.
