MaxBaz Posted April 21, 2008 Author Share Posted April 21, 2008 Dear ChickNik As my main worry was the rat droppings being inadvertently eaten by the girls I specifically asked the question about it to a) my contact at Rentokil who I regularly deal with in my job and b) to the council man who actually laid the bait box. Both said not to use the pellets - but to use the "soap bar" which from the sound of it is what you have HOWEVER and it is a big HOWEVER the council man absolutely told me that there was no danger of secondary poisoning unless I kept hawks(!). This is completely at odds with what is on your packaging - there is obviously a different ingredient used. Although I was expecting to pay, the Council guy said it was a free service, why don't you check with your council, you need to be so so careful obviously.
