Hello everyone!!

 

Collected 3 x batts yesterday & they are soooooooo cute. Today 1 lady atually went to the next box to lay an egg, bless! Shes picked up quite easily.

 

My only worrie is - They have not touch my layer mash, nothing yesterday & nout today. Is this normal?? They are fine with water so atleast theres something.

Congratulations on getting your girls

 

I think they are probably just getting used to being free, and as long as they are drinking they should be fine, and will find and eat something when they are ready

Hi,

I collected ex batts yesterday and, like yours, they don't seen to want their layers mash. But they seem quite taken with the meal worms I've offered them!

I think they are probably so busy getting used to so many different things, and also it is so hot they quite likely just can't be bothered to eat yet.
