hello everyone, my sister has 2 rabbits living in a hutch in her kitchen at the moment, the hutch is very old & would not stay weather proof, she is living in disability benefit & needs to find a very cheap hutch preferably with an out door run, any ideas?

Have you tried her local Freecycle group?

 

Failing freecycle, you tried local pet shops, they are usually a lot cheaper than the big stores? If not, try eBay!

Pet shops near me only sell horrible tiny hutches (three feet or sometimes even less). The only place with decent ones is PAH, and they're not exactly cheap. Ebay occasionally has second-hand ones, might be worth a go.

 

Could she find someone handy with a drill to make one? There are instructions on the net if you do a search. Might work out cheaper to get the raw materials.

you could try Trade It website (or paper) - sometimes they are free to collector

I've been checking out ebay there are some bargins I missed a good one yesterday, brand new apex hutch & attatched 5Ft run for £38, I'll keep looking, thanks for your advice

Result got one with a 5ft attached run for £35 brand new my sister is excitedly awaiting its arrival, thank goodness no more smelly buck rabbint in the kitchen
