Hen Huggers R Us
At last we have found a great way to keep the chooks out of the conservatory once it has been cleaned etc etc..... As it is now too hot to keep the doors closed for fear of the chooks coming in, we have discovered a way of keeping the conservatory cool, but keeping the girls out... your dieing to know aren't you?? A beaded curtain deters them no problem, letting in the cool air but keeping the varmints out!! Can have brekkie in peace at last with the door open! We only paid £8 for our wooden one and well worth the money I can say, you'll all probably say "what you've only just discovered this?" to us it is a God send.... Just want to pass on the good news. lisaroo2
Well done you! It does seem to be a battle of wills doesn't it sometimes with chooks...!
Chickvic
hmm perhaps we ought to try this. We have a plastic one on the back door and it worked for a while, Opal now totally ignores it and wanders round the kitchen...but to be honest I quite like it and so far she hasn't done 'anything' while indoors.
