Puffin
Can I add both vinegar and citricial to the water or just one? One of my chickens is sneezing and a bit snotty - probably the shock of the outdoors after the nice dry barn they were in last week! Also how many drops of citricidal should I add to the glug? Thank you!
Mel (& Paul)
No such thing as a silly question I cant see any reason why you cant mix them together - but there is no need - just one or the other would be ok. It's a while since weve had a glug but I would have thought a drop or two would be ok.
Hen Watch
When I use Citricidal I put a "squeze" in the glug. As it is gloopy stuff (not really liquid) I would say a squeeze amount would be half or 1 teaspoon per full glug container. It froths a lot when you add water, so just give water a wiggle on top and froth goes. Mind you, you don't want to put in too much that they won't drink it.
