only had our girls since Wednesday and my son's Miss Pepperpot seems to have spent the past 2 days with her tail down. They've got plenty of grub and glug and she seems pretty happy but just with her tail down. She does put it up a bit now and then.

Is this a bad sign or am I just panicking?

thanks

she seems quite happy in and out of the run. Was covering herself in bark earlier in the run and is socialising well witht he other 2 still. They all had a sit in the eglu earlier I presume it was for shade. We have the run shade on but it was really hot here this afternoon. Wonder if it's just a bit much for her.

just been out and the tail seems to be up again at the moment and she's running up and down the side of the run clucking like mad (no eggs though I was hoping again!!) Wonder if I need to get the bigger shade. maybe she was too hot. I'll try pegging some tarpaulin over one side tomorrow if it's hot again. The garden is quite shady though until about 4pm.

Think I'm as worried as I was when I had my "real" babies!!

tail seems to be a bit more up today but I think it's her that's producing really orangey liquid poohs. Can't be totally sure, but one of them is and it's where she had been sitting down. i've not given any treats today and left them on the layers mash to see if that settles her down. I think I need to know what normal is before I start adding different things sot hat I can be sure it's not the food! Over the past week or so I'd given them grapes, marmite on toast and an old apple (they didn't seem to go for that, thy think it's a football!)
