i have been told that u need some limestone flour but i dont know what it is for and if i already have something that does its job

Grit is to grind their food in the gizzard.

 

Oystershell is a source of calcium.

 

Mixed Poultry Grit is a mixture of the two.

 

Limestone flour is pure calcium carbonate and is much more easily absorbed. You can get it from ebay as sold for reptiles, or from equestrian shops.
