After weeks and weeks on never-ending broodiness, I got up this morning and Dolly was with Diana & Babs in the run and when I opened the run door, she came out with them too. Could this be the end of it??? She is still making the clucking noise associated with broodiness, but seems slightly less interested in leaping up the ramp into the nest box at any possible opportunity. What do you think??? Dolly is probably just fooling ya.....and knowing broody hens like I do...she'll probably come out of it and go broody again Enjoy it whilst it lasts!! yes, Star is STILL broody. must be week 6 now...lost count.
