The Bantam of the Opera Posted June 8, 2008 Author Share Posted June 8, 2008 yeah it happened the same way to me, i'd been waiting for ages and suddenly these little things were peeping away under my cleo. had no idea it had even been that long. I sure am glad she turned up. my little grey one is already bolder and trying to potter about but cleo is having none of it. Cleo was originally sitting on about 10 eggs but i didn't realise bella was laying eggs next to cleo everyday and cleo was adding them to her clutch. so she ended up sitting on 16 eggs. one has died and i've had 2 hatch out and one of the eggs had a little crack in and was peeping quite alot, i desperately wanted to help it out but fought the urge. ill let nature ake its course. chickens are the best Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
