ChickNic
I have a tupperware box of mixed corn as treats. I have noticed today that there are lots of little bugs in the box, and it looks like they have been living in the corn as they have little holes in. The girls generally like all bugs. Do you think it would be ok to still feed it to them? I would like to rid of it all today as I don't fancy the bug ridden box in my kitchen! Hope everyone is enjoying the sun! Nic. Egluntyne
All added protein. I would give it to them
Nuggywoo
They sound like weevils. If you have anymore mixed corn lying about I'd get rid of the lot. I had to destroy over 15k of corn because of weevils, they eat the grain/corn and all that's left is the husk and dust. Not good for chickens.
