My lovely, gentle, nosy dog has discovered he doesn't like chickens - or at least being pecked by them!

 

The poor lad has been given a couple of little pecks when he has gone a bit close to the run - but this evening, one peck really made contact with his nose (it made a real bang)! It must have really hurt! Needless to say he wasn't a happy chap and has been keeping a wide berth since then.

nice one! I wish my hens would peck my dogs to put them in their place, would be much easier if i oould let them in the garden together knowing the dogs would give them a wide berth!!

Mine follows the chickens everywhere, gently wagging his tail, but they have only pecked him twice. He now keeps his nose away from the front ends! BUT very interested in smelling their fluffy knickers. Bit of a perv I think he is, but then he is an old man

mine is not above the odd bounce, but particularly likes LICKING their fluffy bottoms - funnily enough, no one wants to kiss him afterwards...
