I need to open a webmail account. I do not want to use Yahoo or Hotmail so was toying with opening a Gmail account. Anybody

use Gmail? Good? Bad? Indifferent? Or any alternative suggestions?

I use gmail and like it a lot! The spam filter is good and all in all I'm a big fan of all things google. Also use Picasa for my photos and like the way you can link to googlemaps and google earth directly... So I recommend gmail.

Gmail is great - I have used it for a couple of years - fantastic (except for the fact that Google are taking over the world and will one day be the new evil microsoft empire!! )

 

go for it - way better than hotmail, Yahoo and all those other spam-magnets!

Not any more Signed up now. Took me ages, apparently lots of folk have the same name as me Each time I submitted another new username I had to decipher a new wonky letter thingy, drove me nuts
