Lesley
Can they get into it easily? - ours used to have a step to get in and another one on the inside of the pool - right by the one for getting in so that it is easy for them. Once they became used to it, they didn't bother and they clamber in over the sides. It is the pond from Domestic Fowl Trust, so it isn't very steep for them to get in. Ardene5
Hello Our ducklings swim in a hippo toysrus childrens paddling pool. We have a slope formed by a plastic lid which covers over the head of the hippo and goes from the ground to the lip of the pool. This pool is an extension to the eglu run with a puppy pen around the hippo and the reason for this is they are not fully grown yet and so it keep them safe. Inside the pool are 2 small molded seats which are part of the pool these the ducklings use as steps to get out of the pool and walk down the sloop and into the run. The pool is in the sunshine so gets warm abit and yes the water does get dirty but by removing some of it and topping the pool up they swim and enjoy themselves. So there you have it our answer to a duckling pool. Hope it helps best regards Ian & Valerie William & Harry missy & millie dogs girls 5 ex battery hens x 2, x
