jools+6 Posted July 12, 2008 Share Posted July 12, 2008 does anyone else have blackrocks ? five of ours have coloured up nicely coming into lay , bright red combs , wattles and faces . balti however has a black face and comb with bright red wattles . she seems healthy and happy so should i worry ? didnt worry about the kids as much as i worry about the hens ... I have had mine for a few months now, they are all laying and very happy. I think it is normal for Black Rocks to have some Black on there faces. I think it is normal for Black Rocks to have some Black on there faces. thank the lord , was only really worried in case she cock-a-doodle-dooed . the neighbours would have gone a tad mental ... thanks . one of the others does have black tipping on her comb but it's nothing compared to balti .
