Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

I visited a different country shop yesterday and bought some Battle's Poultry Drink which I'd seen mentioned on here. Should I use it every day or just once a week? It is a heck of a colour (red!)

 

I also bought a bale of Easibed to try out as it was about a pound cheaper than my usual Aubiose. Can I use it in the nestbox? It doesn't look as if it will have the magic poo-disappearing properties of Aubiose/Hemcore but may be better when it gets wet. Does anyone know if it composts as well as the hemp ones?

i use a layer of easibed in the nest box topped off with a layer of shredded newspaper, seems to work ok for me.

as for composting easibed will compost quite quickly. never used hemcore or aubiose though so cant compare.
