Muddy chooks no more, yay!

Recommended Posts

Hi ya everyone,

I posted on here about my chooks muddy feet and they were getting a bit bad they had hard balls of mud on the end of their toes that wouldn't come off. I was getting a bit worried about it. We tried bathing them and it was still pretty hard but after managing to bath them for longer this time and in a little washing up liquid mixed with lots of warmer water it's finally come off. Felt sorry for them walking around like that!

Rosie really enjoyed it, thankfully Matilda's mud came off by itself. Quite funny bathing a hen in the garden in an old washing up bowl!!

Yes will have to take and post pic next time. It would have looked funny cause I was despirately trying to hold her and rub the mud off her feet at the same time. I had to ask my 9 yr old girl to help me

She definately looks like she's had a bath, she's got a wet tummy now!
