Guest
Caitlins nursery teacher retires at the end of term, and as she also taught the boys, I thought I would do a homemeade hamper, rather that buying a bottle of wine, or flowers, which I'm sure she will have coming out of her ears by the last day. I'm already intending on making some orange and lemon curd, and will make some oatie biscuits and shortbread, and, of course, will pop some fresh eggs in, but does anyone have any other ideas as to what else could go in? Louise
Do you know anywhere you can get some nice handmade soap or something
Cookie
How about a bag of fancy coffee (ground or beans) or some nice tea? Or olive oil or balsamic vinegar? You should be able to get any of those in a local grocers or the posh, foodie aisle of the supermarket If you have a Starbucks, Costa or similar near you they sell really nice coffee and will grind it for you if you want. HTH, Love, Cookie. xx
PurpleHen
Maybe some homemade Elderflower Champagne!!! Good excuse to make some... Or a homemade cake - lots of people really appreciate home baking as they don't get it very often...
