Two of my four announce their egg inside, one tells the world once she is in the garden and the last is strangely silent. It's lovely to go out and cradle that warm egg!! What do yours do? choppish Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 it used to be a silent affair this egg laying lark with my 2, until this week when one will lay silently still, but twhen the other one lays about an hour later her mate will bok away to announce her friend has laid. never used to happen. but then their behaviour has completley changed over the last 2 weeks in all sorts of aspects..no idea why.
