Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

A few months in to Chicken Keeping and a new worry occurs to me..... (just when I thought I was getting in to the swing of things!!)

 

One of my girls, Ernestina, takes a couple of hours to lay normally from when she troops in to the eglu, the others take nothing like this time. Do you think she is having problems or just enjoying the peace and having a doze in there! ? What is the kind of average lay time (if their is such a thing!).........

Our chickens are new ... Mavis took a couple of hours to lay a 60 gram monster ... was only her third egg after two much smaller eggs.

I was just about to post the same question when I saw this one! Raquel was in the nesting box for 45 minutes this afternoon. I thought it would be a quick in and out job - 10 mins max...!!

It varies hugely how long they go in for, one of mine sometimes goes in for and hour, comes out again then goes back in a bit later to actually lay, I wouldnt worry too much,
