Hens have arrived - bent toe

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Firstly thank you to everybody and their posts which have been extremely helpful to a novice like me.

We collected our hens today, 2 Miss Pepperpots and 1 gingernut ranger chosen by my 3yr old daughter and her friend. I have one question gingernut on both feet have bent toes, the middle toe bends at an angle to the side.

Is this normal and if not should I be concerned...she seems to be able to walk on it without too many problems.

thanks Debbie for photo.

Megan's feet are just like Crunchie's! Guess she is staying then and I won't have to take her back.

they are 16 weeks old. I am feeding layers pellets with Bokashi and water with a garlic glove in it. do I need to do anything else? I am quite happy to do more for them.
