quickcluck
Well the ladies have been here for 6 weeks are so, and we are about to do the first big run change in the cube. Our run is on soil with easybed, and the chooks have made the hard ground into dust! We now have about 6inches of soft stuff. So any advice on how much of that soil we should take off and replace? It's not that smelly so if I take off the top 2 inches, add garden lime, and replace with more easybed and compost would that be OK?
Chickaboo
Thats all I do, I don't even use the lime but i know most people do.
Redwing
Apparently Stalosan F is very good with the garden lime for refreshing the soil. The subject is bought up here quite often so if you do a search it will flash up
