Training chickens to use nest box!

Hello there!

 

I'm sure this will have been answered before but how do you get your girls to lay in the nest box? I have 4 and the first one that started laying has always used the nestbox, but then 2 weeks or so after her all the others started laying but prefering to do it from their perch instead, making the eggs splat beneath! I've got a couple of pot eggs in the nest box in the hope it dawns on them what they're supposed to do but as yet I'm still getting broken eggs every day!

 

Any advice would be appreciated or is it just a matter of waiting for them to catch on?
