I know my computer runs on Windows XP, but how do I find out if its XP Pro or not?

 

We are trying to set up a wireless network for Broadband, & need to find this out,but for the life of me I can't seem to find the right info

Does it say at start up, I did know the answer but have deleted all info since getting the mac sorry

I'm no expert, but you could try right clicking on the 'My Computer' icon and selecting properties. On my older version of windows this works. Info is on the general tab.

To determine which version of Microsoft Windows you are running:

 

1.

 

 

On the taskbar at the bottom of your screen, click Start, and then click Run.

 

2.

 

 

In the Run dialog box, type: winver

 

 

3.

 

 

Click OK.

A dialog box displays the version that you are running.
