melly264
Am thinking that we would love to expand our flock and I think that chicks would be great for the children to help to raise. But if we did do that I don't think that we could haddle saying goodbye to any chicks that turned out to be chaps. So my main question is which breeds can you buy early on which can be reasonably accurately sexed on hatching? Are there any bantam versions which can be sexed early? At what age can other non-sex linked breeds be sexed? If we were to get day old chicks what are the survival chances? I am looking far to far in advance I know, because we are thinking that spring would be the best time to do this - but hey theres nothing wrong with being prepared!
