mehen Posted October 14, 2008 Share Posted October 14, 2008 Hi This is my first post I have had my girls about a year now and they appear to be just fine, they are active, eat well and bright eyed the also lay as often as they ever have, but when I picked them up at the weekend (not something I do often) they both had bald areas underneath toward the back of their bodies not actually on the vent but foward from there. The skin was not red or irritated and it was not raw in any way but I am concerned because I could see areas of skin and not feather. I also thought it may be an idea for you to get used to giving them a little check over on a regular basis so you recognise what's normal with your girls. You can also give a little check over for lice, which is really useful and they are easily treated.
