quinlan
We had our second egg today, in the run. Clara was in the nestbox this morning gathering bits of paper but when I went back later an egg was on the floor by the door again. However Didier had some beigh coloured "stuff" on her feathers around her vent so was wondering if it may be her whose laying rather than Clara as I thought yesterday? Any ideas would be very grateful...
AnnieP
Sounds like Clara is showing definite signs of wanting to lay, but maybe, if they are both the same age, they both are, and poor old Didier couldn't get onto the nest to do her business because miss Cluck Clara was hogging it? Congratulations anyway!
mostin
Get wrapped up tomorrow and sit out there with your thermos and sandwhiches on eggwatch . It's the only way to be sure who does what .
