Saronne
Hi- I've got 3 hens and an eglu on woodchips. Any ideas where to get a cheap and ready supply of woodchips, e.g. county council sites, etc. Currently purchasing chipped bark from big DIY shop and not so cheap. I live in Leicestershire but any generic advice would be appreciated. Thanks Saronne Paris Nicole Dorothy
Redwing
Try local tree surgeons as what they dont sell for logs they often put through a woodchipper and will sell the chips cheap or even dump a load on your drive for free. You normally have to agree to a large load though, they are not lilkely to entertain anyone who wants a small quantity in neat bags!

KAZAROO
I used to live on a dairy farm with units rented to capenters and a tree surgeon- sometimes you can "deal" in eggs......
