Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

My brother is visiting for the weekend and I have been saving eggs all week so that he could try them.

 

Picture the scene: My bro, my OH and I in the kitchen with five eggs, OH says who will have just one egg? I volunteer. As the five eggs are being poached Bren comes out of the Eglu making a racket, I nip out and return victorious with egg in hand - its in the pan within 20 seconds of being laid!

 

What a great life - does it get better than this?
