DollyG Posted December 15, 2008 Share Posted December 15, 2008 I have the chance of acquiring a pair of Rhode Island Reds, but must answer today. I have never had a cockerel before. I already have a Wyandotte and a Silkie. I don't really have space for chicks, how easy is it to have a cockerel and not produce chicks? Please help. buffie Posted December 16, 2008 Share Posted December 16, 2008 As this forum is predominantly pet hen keepers we've limited experience regarding cockerels so I suggest pekin bantams, river cottage or practical poultry forums, amongst others, may be able to help.
