Guest
I sort of invented this recipe, well I didn't follow a recipe I just sort of threw it all together and they're yummy! 3 slices of seeded batch bread blitzed in the blender, 1 small tin of haricot beans, 1 small tin cannellini beans, rinse and tip into blender with breadcrumbs and blitz, tip into a bowl and mix in 2 beaten eggs, 1 small tin of dolphin friendly tuna (rinse the brine off) and a splodge of tomato puree and some seasoning (I used Chinese spice but you could experiment with other things, some spring onion would be nice too) I also added a bit of harissa paste and some salt. Mix it all together and then form into small balls and shallow fry in light olive oil. I made some home made egg fried rice to go with it and would have had some sweet chilli sauce to go with but ran out so had them with a bit of ketchup. I LOVE them. They'd be great for party nibble piled on a plate with some bowls of things to dip in. These quantities make about 23 golf ball sized balls
