4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Hi, Ginger seems happy and is laying daily, but I have noticed dark brown spots on her eggs that wash off, they could be easily mistaken for speckles. this has happened for the last week or so.

any ideas ?

Is this something to worry about?

It's worth checking her vent regularly to make sure there's nothing untoward going on. You do sometimes get a speck of blood, or is it something else? I'm not sure. If she is in good health otherwise and there's no blood in the nest-box and nothing showing on her botty, then I wouldn't worry.

Thanks, I wasnt too worried cos shes very happy otherwise, and still laying every day, more curious

I have checked her vent and no prob there, the eggs were clean for the last 2 days.
