Ideally, I suppose, someone (apart from yourself) could find them next time they escape, and take them to a rescue centre instead of giving them back. I would feel very tempted to. Then the owners would have to improve their security if they wanted the chickens back. yes pity not nearer I would have no qualms about taking them to the RSPCA & saying I found them wandering. pistachio Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 Just a suggestion alongside rather than instead of the other suggestions - how about giving them the Omlet site address and tell them it's a hive of good advise. It might help the owner get a handle of the dangers of having poor borders in the free ranging area and the possible dangers of unsupervised free ranging. you might want to delete this thread first!
