cam1 Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 Hi hope things not too bad, well we have used calamine when we had it as kidsand i used it on ds when he had it, try putting it in the fridge as that is very soothing. Just keep an eye on him any further probs speak to your gp, keep an eye on his chest how his breathing feels as rarely it can cause problems. AMS Posted January 7, 2009 Author Share Posted January 7, 2009 He says he felt absolutely wretched for most of the day but he looks a bit brighter this evening - hopefully the anti-virals are kicking in now and he has turned the corner. He was made redundant today Not normally a cause for celebration but he has known about it for a while (he was told that his department was being eliminated back in October - such a sensitive choice of words ) and it meant that he could sign the contract for his new (better) job that will start mid-February.
