They also have onion and shallot sets too, and those multi seed packs which have six small packs inside one big one, a choice of veg seeds or herb and spice. Guest Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 I went to our local pound shop, not poundland, ours is just called "The Pound Shop" however they were selling packets of seeds for £1 each and also little trays full of compost with the seeds in, all you have to do is add water, for £1 also. I got some alpine strawberries, spring onions, cabbage, packets of mixed peppers and chillis, French beans, coriander, sweet basil and peas. Worth keeping a regular eye on that one by the sound of it! I bought some animal gravity feeder/drinkers from one near me (pound each), large enough for one hen to comfortably eat or drink from.
