Mollystar
Hi all I have been adding a handfull of ground linseeds to my chickens food, high in Omega 3 & supposed to be a good alrounder to promote healthy hens & feathers plus omega rich eggs. Anyone else add this to feed?
..lay a little egg for me
No, but I did read somewhere that plenty of grass and other greenstuff gives eggs high in omega-3, so if your free-range they should already be high in omega-3. I also seem to remember various forum members warning against feeding high-fat seeds as it can reduce egg production. No doubt Egluntine will be along shortly to put us right!
