Gingers eggs are lovely

Recommended Posts

Well Jo and I finally decided it was time to cook or first few eggs. We've had three so far from Ginger. to make up the numbers we cooked one of the "shop bought" free range organic corn fed chicken eggs that we had left and I must say I am so shocked. The tase is sooooo different. Although our eggs were smaller, they were much tastier and much more golden. IM so happy.

heres one in the pan

Huw, glad to hear the first egg was great.

Once my lot were in the swing of laying and the eggs were getting larger and more orange, it too me by surprise that scrambled egg is supposed to be bright yellow and not an inspid pale colour of shop eggs. In fact the brightness of it too some getting used to, as it looked just like someone had tipped food colouring on my food.......

I got to have the first egg, as hubbie was worried it would be nasty inside lol.

What on earth did he imagine would be inside :roll::lol::lol: .

We had some bought eggs about 3 weeks ago and one of them was off, black and stinky. As the temp here has been in the high 30c's I'm not sure if he was expecting the same lol.
