likeastar--x
I bought stockholm tar to make her botty less sore, not more! Before it looked fine, I bought the tar as a precaution. I slathered some on, and I gave her a bath today and when I washed it off all of the skin on her botty is red and painful looking I put some camomile lotion on it, couldnt find any sudocrem. I dont know if this is okay but I needed to put SOMETHING on it and I couldnt find anything else. Dont have any purple spray, will the white colour attract the other chicken to try and eat it? Honestly! A bit peeved by this, especially as the stuff stunk out the house!
sandyhas3chucks
I did the same LAS early on in my foray into chookdome . Sorry you missed my warning about the vile stuff. It does or did whilst on stop the others pecking her. Inexpensive £2.35 pot of T trea cream (pet shop) Sodocrem has worked well for me, a calendular cream would also be a good alternative alco if pecked an Arnica cream. and all available locally I would have thought. haven't you already got some purple spray. the coulor puts them off pecking her!
