Hello everyone,

 

I was just playing with my new girls when I noticed a fresh bloodstain on Amber's foot. Upon picking her up for an investigation, the inside soft skin between her toes had been damaged somehow, most likely from a peck. I have gently cleaned the area with slightly salted warm water, and put her back amongst the others. She was not limping at all, and seemed unaffected by the injury.

Does anyone have anything to recommend as further care advice?

Sounds like you have done everything right. No need for further action - just keep an eye out for further bleeding. If the others see blood they will continue to peck at it.

the only other thing I can add is, if you have some antiseptic spray, spray a bit on her cut.
