karlotta
Hi all My cube arrived this week and i'm having trouble getting it built.. No matter what I try I can't get the door handle side panel to fit flush. There is a big gap inside at the bottom and I can't get the bracket/bolts to line up with the holes so it obviously isn't right... Has anyone built their own and can offer any advice? I feel like I might have to resort to taking the run off and starting again.. I'm getting to the end of my tether...
Mr Webmuppet
Hi all My cube arrived this week and i'm having trouble getting it built.. I feel like I might have to resort to taking the run off and starting again.. I'm getting to the end of my tether... Hi karlotta, We had a few issues at that stage too - the front corner (ie the corner directly below the handle /hole) needs to be pushed downwards and it locates quite firmly. Ours seemed to locate OK (ish) but would only drop into place once I had leant on it pretty hard. Most of the cube seemed to fit together very precisely but those main panels seemed to be the exception and we ended up submitting photos back to Omlet as we weren't entirely happy that it had fitted together quite as they had intended (i.e. ours was a bit 'gappy') hope that helps, Mr Webmuppet
karlotta
Thanks for the reply! I got up extra early today and had another go. I don;t think it was helping that the ground it was on is a bit uneven - it looked a bit skewiff. On slightly leveller ground it went in a bit better and i've managed to at least get the screws in. Have to wait till I get home from work to tackle the rest of it! I'm not looking forward to the roof bits!
